Richman EMDR Training

EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and EMDR-Europe Association (EMDR-E) accredited trainings conducted by Alexandra (Sandi) Richman, Chartered Clinical Psychologist.

These EMDR trainings provide a hands-on clinical skills training for learning EMDR and integrating this evidence-based therapy with your own psychotherapy approach. EMDR is a very effective treatment for PTSD and anxiety disorders.

Richman EMDR Training offer small interactive EMDR trainings incorporating the complete ‘standard’ EMDR training accredited and approved by EMDRIA/EMDR-Europe plus an Intermediate workshop between the Level I and Level II training. After Level I participants are able to practice EMDR. The Intermediate day revises the protocol and offers supervision of case material. The Level II training teaches EMDR with more complex cases.

A clinical background is necessary for the effective application of EMDR and so attendance at the training workshops is limited to mental health professionals who are qualified or certified to provide treatment in the mental health field. This includes all the core professions of psychiatry, psychology, mental health nursing and social work with mental health training. Psychotherapists and counsellors need to be accredited by UKCP or BABCP or BACP or recognised equivalent.
